(I thought I had posted this already and if I have someone please post a link to it)

Anyways, we are working on an article for the next issue of Mobile Beat listing Internet Resources that you visit often. We have the ones within the industry well covered with a ton of DJ related sites. I'm really in need of ones that aren't directly in the DJ business that you visit.

Stuff like history lists for class reunions, VH1 where are they now, stuff like that.

Please post here and we'll index them, put them in the next mag and also put them up at the DJWiki.

Here's one I overlooked...

http://www.birthdayalarm.com/

Not only is this one great for remembering family and friends special days, but you can enter client's birthdays (Mitzvah's, etc.) or weddings (anniversaries, etc.)...then you get a reminder to send a card to them every year!!!

Google Grand Central (I'm beta testing it)and it is a way cool telephony system whereby you have a personal Google supplied telephone # that can be enabled to forwarded to any 1 - whatever 'phone #s you choose plus internet voicemail, skype forwarding and much - I've been beta testing this for a few months and it will knock your socks off

I had one call yesterday that rang two cell phones, my business phone and Skyped Me on my computer and mac -

No excuse for not getting the call now :)

Also

Google Knol which is going to be BIG

You can pretty much do all of that with Vonage.

Great thread! I have stolen a few already, though I am staying far, far away from Mark Beecher's cartoon network link. I will be lost there for hours.

I likes me some www.lifehacker.com: it' a daily blog of the best "getting things done" (GTD), money management, and computer goodness all rolled into one.

For a total time-waste that does some good in the world (How's that for a contradiction) try www.freerice.com Answer increasingly difficult vocabulary questions and get rewarded with 20 grains of rice donated to world hunger relief. (Feed the world - Let them know it's Christmas time)

Do music services count? www.Rhapsody.com is my source for noodling around with new (new to me) music. iTunes is deeper, but Rhapsody has the full tracks, and though I don't have the attention span to sit through an entire song (I should be a MD/PD at a radio station) I like to sift through the whole song and hear the breaks/ending.
