Wedding Fireworks

In a few weeks, I have a wedding ceremony/reception out in the country on the bride's family farm, that will be ending in a ten minute fireworks show. (The same professional company who presented the fireworks at The Ohio State Fair ... so not Uncle Joe and the local firework store )

I am getting ready to put together a ten minute "Love-Mix" that I will send to the fireworks' producer to match the show to.

FYI: Bride and Groom are mid twenties, very committed to each other (and their church), and want everyone to feel part of their happy PG rated celebration. Musically, they aren't too demanding, except even though it's trendy barn wedding, I'm not to play any country music. ... ha ha

Here are a few of the songs that I'm thinking about including in my mix. Anything else I should consider? (And if you suggest something, go on ahead and suggest the 10 - 60 seconds snippet from your idea!)

Did a sparkler sendoff to Firework Saturday night.

This is an awesome song I have used this for many things....works very well with fireworks! It's Disney!

Actually not to get to long winded or mushy but, I performed for the Children s Immune Deficiency Foundation (very sick kids ) I was given all kinds of stuff to give away and have fun with the kids with and this beautiful little six year old girl with the most amazing blue eyes you ever saw, completely bald won this CD. She gave it to me and said " I want you to have this please play it and think of me" This is the song I "bump" my system with to test it at every gig I do. Every time I hear it I see her beautiful blue eyes. I performed this event for 7 years and sadly she passed away and that was the last time I performed the event. It is a very magical song...... enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing that experience Paul. You can get long winded and mushy anytime if you have sweet (yet sad) stories like that. Bless her
