So Far i have not had ANY problems with primecuts. I am soooo much happier since joining with them, as opposed to the other subscription service i had used. The customer service is THE BEST i have seen in subscription services. Keep up the goodwork jonestm. By the way, JIM W and the gang have surpassed my expectations on customer service a number of times. Any body contemplating switching to Prime Cuts...DO IT. You won't be disappointed.
Yeah the Post Office is the killer sometimes of my Prime Cuts service. Jim can tell you a few times by now I've had to request of a new disc. When I first started getting the service, it wouldn't get here until Thursday or Friday of the next week. Now that I've b**ched enough to the postmaster, knock on wood, it's been coming just about every Monday. But usually if it does not show up on Monday I'm lucky if I have it before Friday. You can tell it's been through a lot when that happens, the cardboard is bent and beat up, almost makes me wonder how the disc isn't cracked. I'm considered a "rural route" as well, so since rural residents get the crap end of everything, especially things like mail service, broadband internet, and cable TV, I guess it's to be expected.
But Prime Cuts is a great service, you can't blame them for the post.
I usually receive mine on Monday - Tuesday, although when my regular mailman is off (he's in his late 60's & is supposed to retire at the end of this year)it may be later in the week, or sometimes not at all. I lost count the number of times Jim or another rep called/emailed me to tell me my package was sent back to them... but then again according to the post office, mail delivery in Chicago is the worst in the nation.
Yup. An email to Kris Kraft is all it takes. Kris is da Bomb when it comes to customer service!
I just missed getting #16 (only the 3rd miss in 4 years, and 2 were my post office's fault (this one may turn out to be, too).
But all in all, Prime Cuts service is awesome.
