How many of you guys are considering the XDJ-R1 as a possible upgrade and more compact solution to your current systems? I've been thinking about it, as it offers all the possible media formats that you would need (USB, WIFI, CD, MIDI), only real drawback is the 1 microphone input.

very intersted in this! full standalone using record box or midi and the fact you can control the entire unit remotly with an Ipad is amazing! i can walk the floor and control intro music. can take a batrhoom break and mix from the can :)

That's a USP like no other, huh?

Client: "So what makes you better than all the other DJ's I've auditioned?

DJ: "Ma'm, my gear is so advanced I can be in the $#!+ house dropping a deuce and at the same time still be working the mix. Do you like Apples Ma'am?"

Client: "Why, yes I do..."

DJ: "Well how do you like 'dem Apples?!?"

You know one day there's going to be one DJ that accidently engages the on board camera and broadcast his deuce dropping live to one of the screens at the party, lol.

Love Pioneer, but this unit is useless to me. 2 channel mixer, doesn't play with Serato ?
