Do you have distorted sound on one side, no sound at all, or some variant.

I've worked on them a bit, and might be able to point you. I do not have schematic, but have a good visual on where the problem might be dependent on your information on the flavor.

Numark might be willing to give one up if you contact them directly ...... They're in Rhode Island and you might speak to Chris Roman.

Other than that, what are the symptoms of your problem? Those units were infamous for losing the ground connections between the RCA/XLR jacks and the circuit board.

I was going to suggest popping the top, and taking out the two XLR interfaces and re-solder them, as they are about the only point of stress in the machine. I have done that on mine, and they have no problems.

Bill@ESC might be able to help. I'll send him a message.
Wondering if you might have gotten a response from Bill - I need a service manual with schematics for the CD Mix2... Numark says they only will provide them for authorized servicers... I have 2 of the units and hoped to make at least 1 working copy, but swapping boards has proven fruitless... so I must have multiple problems with these units.

One of them had a puffed capacitor on the power supply board, and I've lost audio on that unit. The other one makes goofy digital noises when playing a CD. Trying to pin it down to a board didn't bring success. I suspect that there are some bad SIP Quad OpAmps in the no-sound unit, and maybe a problem with the digital CD decode boards in the one that makes garbled funky sound. I think I could solve all the problems if I only had a map to go by...

it's pretty lame of a manufacturer to withhold service literature - this is old technology and needs to be able to be repaired...

seems impossible to find service literature

I've got one with a dead CD drive in it, otherwise it is mint, been in a case since new. It's too bad you are not local or I'd tell you to come pick it up... Probably going to drop it off at the recycling depot.
