It's been a minute since I've posted on this forum and thought I'd check in. We just launched our new website and I decided to write a quick hitter on the blog. Check it out and use it and share it as you like. It's intended for newly engaged brides as they are starting the planning process of organizing a wedding and hiring a dj. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. It's very hard to tell (or give advice or suggestions) without sounding mean or scary. I think you've accomplished that ;-)

Two comments:

1) It's probably my eyes, but I've never been a fan of the white on black ... I prefer black on white
and
2) Looking at your event sheet, the dollar dance BEFORE open dancing surprised me. I know everyone is different, and event flow in different parts of the country or for a specific couple or venue is different, but I always want open dancing (for free!) as soon as I can ... and IF they must have a dollar dance, I save that for a little bit until (free and fun) dancing has been established.

Thanks for the comments Jodi! I'm playing with the white text on black. You're the second person to mention that, which tells me I should give it another look. I'm wondering if I should just make the blog portion of the site with a white background. I tried making the text font size larger and the line-height larger as well. Let me know if this helps or if I should just go with a white background. And the planner is just a sample. Every event is different as stated.

Alright.... advice taken. Switched the content areas to be dark text on light background. Hopefully this helps with readability.

A lot of people get this wrong (I did for a long time), but the plural of "DJ" is "DJs", not "DJ's". The apostrophe denotes a possessive.
