I'm looking to replace my Numark CDMix2. It took it's last breath last week and after countless hours of CPR (Carefully Placed Repairs) she just couldn't be saved and her plug was pulled. After today's tearful service, I knew that my career as a successful entertainer must move on and recover from our untimely loss of such a dear companion.

If anyone has one of these units in better condition than the one I laid to rest today, please let me know.

I owe you a cup of coffee on that one! Thanks!

I'm actually going to be out your way on 14 May. I get to be a GUEST at a wedding somewhere in Poughkeepsie. Since I'm not working it, I'll know where it is when the wife tells me to get out of the car!

Yeah Keith thats the problem with Numark they live just long enough to find a place in your heart!

I have switched over to Pioneer. They seem to have twice the life!

Shes gone but not forgotten my friend.

Cd mix transport lasers are usually the problem with these. We replace them all of the time. Just keep in mind when buying a used cd player you may be trading in one dead CD mix for one on life support. I am for buying used stuff..... speakers, amps, lighting, stands, mixers, but when it comes to purchasing items with laser pick ups I usually stay away or purchase so cheep that I fold in a new laser. I don't even buy manufacture b stock cd player product.
