Looking for alternative Aluminum Case for Sennheiser G3 System..

I have a Sennheiser Evolution G3 Wireless microphone system, I was looking to get a case for it. The only case I can find is the crappy plastic one that Sennheiser sells (which I've had before and the thing does not hold up). I'm looking for an aluminum alternative to house the receiver, power adapter and handheld. How about with foam interior for each component?

I bought 4 unused Shure Microphone cases about a year ago that work really well for me on a variety of things. You live pretty close to me (I'm in one of the "Burys" ;)). If you're interested, PM me and we can arrange to meet up or something.

Other than that, hanndgun cases work pretty well. Try Dick's Sporting Goods in Southington or Cabellas in West Hartford. -Z-

You may already have a case that you can use. I have the G2 system and have it packed into a small tool box with foam cut outs. You may also be able to use something like a poker chip case, handgun case or rubbermaid container. Foam is easy to cut to size and make cut outs for various items that you want to pack.

SKB makes a variety of cases...

Harbor Freight Tools has aluminum "briefcases" that would work...

Heck, BigLots has a series of lock-shut-on-all-four-sides waterproof food containers that are large enough for this use... CHEAP!

X2 on Big Lots...for many different things. I make it a point to stop in at my local BL once a month just to see what they've got. Sometimes I'll buy stuff that I don't yet have a need for, but it's logical that I will soon. Their prices are just too darn irresistible for me. Oh no, sounds like a chic at a shoe store :shocked!:!!!

HAHA! Thanks everyone, BIG LOTS it is! Or even the Odyssey case that Bill suggested, that's a nice alternative also

Some of the resellers of mics on ebay will split a drum mic kit to sell the mics and case individually.

Try Shure drum case, audix drum case, akg drum case, cad drum case.
