Karaoke Downloads

Hi,

I'm looking to add Karaoke to my lineup this year. I'm having a hard time finding new hip hop and latin music. Does anyone have any suggestions of subscription based sites where I can get these and other genres of new music. Seems like all of the sites I run into have only older music and are limited.

I'll take a look to see what download sites that are legal and still running. A couple of notes on this. Nearly every subscription that I know of that is 100% immune to the Soundchoice lawsuits is on CD. Top country and pop hits still going strong. A great place to look for new releases is Ace karaoke. In terms of your specific needs for latin, that might be difficult, and the Hip Hop might be covered under the Pop releases. I'll research and get back to you. Sorry for the delay, I was iced in for 4 days at home.

Here is an open search. As expected, there is a lot of turbulence here... I'd try the websites listed below and see what happens. (like PCDJ) Because of the issue with the lawsuits, (Search Soundchoice lawsuits), I've never converted to digital. Now I did not ask, but presume you are looking to do digital, not CDG?

I believe Sound Choice offers a licensed "digital" version of their karaoke library for a price.

I also noticed MICROSOFT is offering karaoke downloads, and they include Sound Choice.

Bill, I would not trust that. Complicating matters is that their former home Soundchoice.org does not appear to be working. I'm going to look into that and see what happened.
