I was looking to put together a PC based 2nd system (for small parties and birthday parties) My main system is with the Pioneer MEP-7000 which I use external harddrive and Virtual DJ with, I use that system with weddings and bigger events.

I was looking at the HC4500 and the HC5000 from Denon for my second system. I've had great luck so far with Virtual DJ and was thinking of using that with the HC4500. But then I saw the HC5000 with Serato Itch and was equally impressed. The HC5000 has a bigger price tag obviously with Serato bundled in, but I was looking to hear your opinions on both.

I had considerations with the Pioneer SEP-C1, but i thought it was stupid that it doesn't include a soundcard built in like the Denons.

Thanks for all the help!!

hc4500 u can use any software. hc5000 made for itch exclusively (but can be manually mapped to other software). both do the same exact thing, but if you want the flexibility of using vdj, or traktor, or pcdj etc, you can do that with the 4500 with custom midi maps already available.

both control cd deck as well.
