Did they ever fix the hot mic input issue?

What is 'street price' on the 6000 now, 6 or 7 hun?

Same question as Steve. Is the hot mic issue fixed? Other than that I love the board.

I thought it was the American Audio VSM4 that had the Hot Mic issue. My unit works flawlessly.

There was one issue mentioned here, but as I recall it was a matter of the jock attenuating his wireless microphone properly, and not the MC 6000. -Z-

Now might be the time for me to put that 3rd console together for use in Florida when I'm down there during those long, cold, wintry nights! I have been eyeing the MC-6000 for months and it would most likely provide a really nice front end to my 3rd EV ZXA1 system.

And WHERE is Alma MI ?!

That'd be me. And with max attenuation on the mic, I run my Denon mic volume from 30% to 75% (typical operating range for me) without any distortion or increase in noise.

Please tell me it has a MONO button on it... I am a mobile DJ and NEED a mono button. Every DJ mixer should have a mono button on it, if it does not, it was designed by someone with absolutely no 'in the field' experience as a mobile DJ.

Never mind, I found that is has a button on the rear which is stupid in my opinion. Hopefully it has an LED indicator on the face so you can tell if it is engaged or not.

No indicator on the front for Stereo vs Mono (although a quick glance at your meters should tell you). But it's a switch, not a button.

I just leave mine in Mono all the time.
