Do most of you who have them shine them on the opposite wall, behind you or on the floor? Now I have 4 scanners that I am using with them. Would that affect where you would shine them?

I use mine soley for color fill on the floor. I am going to get some more just for fill on the walls for some events and for on the mirror balls.

Hayden,

Unless you have fixtures that you can spare, concentrate your color changers on the floor. Color fill is the foundation for intelligent and high tech effects. If used properly, you can wash the dancefloor with light and let your intels and other effects move around and add some changeup.

The word is getting out ..... how will I ever compete? Aim 'em at the dance floor and if you've got a couple spares, aim them at the wall behind you in contrasting colors. For what they cost these days, its a small investment.

So what brand or model gives you an even split of economy but also reliability? I'm blowin the wad on other stuff but would like to try to find something for some color fill.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Check in with Bill from ESC...... he had a special going with the new Chauvet Omega 250C's......I bought four sight unseen and they've been great so far and my monetary investment was far less than the cost of a single Martin MX4 scanner.

CX-4's are great color changers .... fantastic color fill especially if you have the 28 degree lenses n them.

What'd ya think Bob D.?
