I have just finished dealing with one of the most disappointing businesses that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

Late last year one of my EV powered speakers went in to protection mode at the end of a reception and would no longer produce sound. I checked with a local repair company and was told that they would send it to EV. The approx cost was approximately $600. I decided to look for options and had a little time since I had 3 more of the same speakers.

I called PRO DIGITAL INC (http://prodigitalinc.com) in Pennsylvania and spoke with Paul who told me he could repair the amp. On December 8, 2015 after speaking with Paul, the owner of PRO DIGITAL INC I dropped the amp off at my local UPS store to be delivered per Paul's instructions. I was told that these repairs are one of their specialties and that they would do it for approximately half the amount that EV charges and the turn around time is 3 days. I decided to give them the opportunity. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from them I called. After calling and leaving messages for Paul with his employees I finally received a return call from Paul. He said sorry but he has been going through chemotherapy. I was totally sympathetic to his situation since my wife has gone through this 2 times in 10 years. But remember, I am running a business to take care of my family. He told me that he was having trouble finding the prints with info to track down the problem and would I give him a little more time. He seemed confident that he could do the repair. I agreed since it was now my slow season. Paul then told me he would get back in a week. After 2 weeks of no communication I called him again. 2 calls at least 10 rings per call and no answer. Later that day I tried again and spoke to another employee (Jim) who said Paul is going through chemo and will get back. Blah Blah Blah. I have now lost my patience. There were other calls and emails.

This continued until February 5, 2016 when I called and told Paul to send the amp back. A week later it still hadn't been shipped until I called again. Finally on February 22, 2016 I received my amp...unrepaired! I paid to have it shipped to them only to have it returned unrepaired approximately 2 1/2 months later. No offer to cover my shipping expense.

My suggestion is to steer clear of PRO DIGITAL INC in Pennsylvania!!!!!!!!!
