$4.26 for a song, sort of.

It is kind of my own fault but I needed a song for Mother/Son dance this weekend. MOG finally got it for me today and I said I will try to find it. I found it on Itunes and DL'd it.

Got a reply from her saying if you don't have it, can you use "this" song. I sent a message back saying I found it so not worries.

She then asks if we can use the other song mentioned above. I say no problem.

So I DL it from Itunes just to find out it is a live version. It didn't say that on the listing. OK, download a different one. Listen to it, and it is a tribute song. Again, it didn't list that. Only it was by the artist. OK so I DL it again and get the correct one.

Those 30 second clips do not do enough to give you a good idea of the song.

So, I DL'd 4 songs and I only need 1.

Oh well. I might need them someday and they are a write off.

Yep... I've done it myself...

My ten year old needed a song for her skating competition. She wanted "Magic" by Selena... and I got it. Turns out it was the wrong version, so I had to go get the right one twice more.

Just got an email from her. She wants a different one now. My life from the Beatles. Not sure if I have it. I hope it is available on Itunes. I heard somewhere their songs are not.

You think that's bad, I purchased a song off wedding central (I think that's the name of it), and it cost over $10!!! I was soo pi$$ed that I called their studio and chewed them out over the phone for price gouging. They reassured me how they are independent artists trying to turn a small profit. They ended up giving me all their songs at not cost... It's amazing at what a little honesty can do nowadays!

If a bride called you and chewed you out about price gouging would you give away your product for free?

Just curious why you felt the need to chew them out? Shouldn't they be allowed to charge as much as they want for THEIR product?
