    DVD Burner Question

either kind is ok, but I prefer DVD-R. From what I've learned in the past, it seems that DVD-R are more compatible to just about every dvd player. Why that is, I have no idea. Whats the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R? That too, I really don't know. lol

I love GoogleVoice. I really love the voicemail, its so much simpler and easier to use cause I listen to all my voicemails on the web.

I've been messing around with Linux...... I have one simple question.....

Oh, so your not using Linux for your dj computers. I really like that AV Linux. I also messed around with Fedora, Ubuntu, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Knoppix, CentOS and OpenSUSE. All using the LiveCD method. Figured they were free, just download em all and archive them. lol I am planning on...

I have a new project starting....

I have an extra subwoofer here that I used to use for a bass cab for my bass guitar back in the day. Its a Peavy 18" Black Widow Low-Rider 8-Ohm. Killer sub. Well, I was thinking of turning it into a Powered Subwoofer with Satelitte speaker system by adding a nice plate amplifire to the back...

I've been messing around with Linux...... I have one simple question.....

Well, finally ordered the hard drive for that Toshiba laptop I got AV Linux running on. Using a LiveCD of it to play around with it. The drive is only a 250gig, all I can afford for now. Think I will make it a dual-boot of AV Linux and Windows 7, since dj software for Linux is very few...

Couple of more questions that have been burning a hole in my small brain...

Question #1: Does anyone know if theres a plugin or program that can turn the "Line-In" on a sound card into a pre-amped RIAA input for turntables that don't have built in preamps? Is there maybe a VST plugin out there for programs like Audacity and such? (I have been scouring google for...

    I need a new record/vinyl cleaner, suggestions? or am I S.O.L.?

Speaking of antique audio equipment, I am looking for something. Its a 70's to 80's model stereo my brother had, has disco lights in the bottom. I had my brothers for a little while when I grew up. It got hit by lightning at his mobile home, so my dad took it and fixed it up the best he...
