I just got back from a resort in Mexico. They were doing a line dance to a song I never heard? They danced the same steps to Ahcy Breaky Heart, but it was slower.

Does anyone know what this song is? It start out with a slow intro and got fast.

They would also chant "orka" or "Olka between songs. Were they chanting for a style of mexican music?

    Thanks

    Thanks,
I found that Caballo Dorado is a band. They do many covers including the popular Achy Breaky Heart or No Rompas Mi Corazon - Don t Tell My Heart. They also do a cover of "All shook Up" by Elvis which the band played in Mexico.

I wish I could find that other song they performed. It was the same line dance they did to Achy Breaky but twice as fast. Also does anyone know what they were chanting>? Sounded like Olka Olka Olka

    Thanks

    SonidoGenio,

Thanks for the offer, but NO, you are NOT allowed to post music. That's illegal.

But I can chime in and confirm that both of these songs are fun Latin Line
Dance songs that, with the right Latin audience, will pack the dance floor.

    Volcano,

Thanks for the compliment. Few people know is that I am a Tri-Ligualist...

That means I'll try any language possible. Actually, I speak Spanish
fluently, and have performed many events exclusively in Spanish. I refer
to myself as "White-Bread, who speaks Spanish". Not expected by most.

I also dabble in French and German and can say "Thank You" in over 30
Languages. But enough about me... Let's find another genre of music
    to discuss! :D

    Hi Scott,

I bet not too many knew that about you, including myself. Speaking another language is very impressive. Spanish is very useful now a days. I may try and pick up a few more phrases to take my conversation beyond hi, I am very good, and one Beer! Thankyou.
    You da man.
