Bridal Show / Open House

    SO we just finish our private open house last night and I'm stressing.
    Wow Never knew how much goes into running one. I had the concept of doing my own
    private open house at one of the banquet I'm a preferred vendor there. We old 8 vendors total including my co... Vendors from caterer, David's bridal, videographer, officiant, bridal registry and the person that runs the banquet place---

    All of this was put together by me and man i have to say is i wish i had more time.
    We had a turn out around 20-25 guest in and out. a handful stayed to see us perform.

    Has any one here try to do their own open house, Do you have any tip and ideal so that we can get better in doing this. Pictures of the event coming soon

    I commend you on your idea. I love the idea but I am left to thinking....how did you advertise? That would have to be the key to it's success I would think. You did it at a banquet house? Did they help you advertise? I'm curious because this seems like a great idea but I would be worried about the turnout based on lack of advertising funds.

    Its funny- you ask that I advt on Facebook, weddingwire, my website,blog and sent email blast- I asked the other vendors to market as well. I just got off the phone with the coordinator of the banquet hall and she said it went well she was thinking around 40 guest came out. So we shall see the ROI., Good luck

    I always wanted to do my own show... BUT I dont know how I woudl advertise or how I would KNOW that the other people advertise.. in my case, I run a company that does DJ, lighting, videography, live piano entertainment, and photography so I would be all of those vendors ... did you have more then one of the same type of company there? I did a bridal show last year where the guy who ran it was also a DJ and whatever deal I had at my booth, he beat it and in fact, gave away some free stuff as the prizes etc (I was giving away flower arrangements)...
