Smile Italian instrumental music for cocktail hour?

I have a groom who wants Italian instrumental music for cocktail hour. I did a search and all I could find was Italian classical music. If you know any good Artist or CD's to get to fill one hour this would be very helpful.

    Thanks Tom

To start with the Theme from the Godfather. Check out Mob Hits 1 and 2 for more. I'll see what my wife has on here ipod. She has quite a few italian songs but they have words. I can also email her cousin for some of the newer stuff.

Just did a search on Amazon for Italian instrumental and quite a few cd's came up including this one http://www.amazon.com/Dinner-Italy-V...0529455&sr=1-7

I run into this all the time.
Get clarification on what exactly the groom means by "Italian" music. For a great many, this simply refers to Rat Pack era music, standards (probably because Frank, Dino, Bobby & Louie were Italian) . To others, "Italian" music means music from Italy. -Z-

When you get an answer, PM me if you like, I have some decent stuff I could get to you. -Z-

Tom: Tried to send you a Private Message. Says you're full up and cannot accept another one until you free up space.

I have an answer for you if you'd care to email me.

    Smile Italian instrumental music

    Hi Cap,
I sent you a PM! I need to delete some of my PM because the box was full. To clear thingss up they are looking for Italian instrumental music not the classic Rat Pack style thats why I a'm thrown off because I don't have a clue to this style.

    Tom,
I did that exact same thing at Machanic's Hall in Worcester a few weeks ago. I'll try and find the CD's I used. Call me if you'd like 508-889-9635.

Try this link. The first CD (Italian Inermezzo) is the one I believe I used. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_m?...ezzo&x=14&y=18

If I were you, I would convince them to let you play your standard Jazzy stuff through cocktails and save the Italian instrumental music for dinner; that's what I always do...

I'm sure you got some great help from Cap. With a name like Cap Capello, I'm sure he knows his Italian music really well! Mannaggia!!!

PS: Notice the grape-colored font? Lol
