Hmm, looks like Futuredecks from the past, that VDJ bought out. lol

I just hope version 8 is NOT like windows 8, which I tried the consumer preview windows 8, and I hated it from the moment it booted.

VDJ 8.0 is recoded from the ground up. All new.

After seeing the demo, asking a few questions, seeing and listening to the results and answers, my personal feeling is to wait for 8.1 and let the 8.0 users work out the inevitable plethora of bugs.

No doubt, those guys are forward thinkers and brilliant software engineers, but this one gives cause to proceed lightly.

Im waiting for 7.1 which will have some of the V8 features... what I want to know is will V8 run on the same hardware as 7? I am still on a windows XP machine for my DJ laptop as it runs so well.....

Unlimited Sounds: Great question. Don't quote me but they mentioned 8.0 is going to "utilize Direct-X 11 to it's full capability" whatever that means and which ever version of Windows has it.

I guess you will need WINDOWS 7 or vista to run it.. there is no DIRECT X 11 for XP...

Looks like some nice improvements.

I've really only started using VDJ over this summer, and the search function drives me nuts compared to what I'm used to in SSL. Glad to see they've improved it.
