A dumb question.

How do you add a picture to the BODY of a post?
I can (and have) add one as an attachment, but I cannot figure out how to put it in there with the text.

Upon getting the correct answer,
I will add a picture of Homer Simpson saying "DOH"
to prove that I am an idiot,
and to prove that I successfully learned how to do it.
Until then, you'll have to view it as an attachment.

There's a button at the bottom of the Reply box, that says, "Go Advanced." That should do it.

No dumb question but actually a common one. 2 ways to do this. One is to click on the icon that looks like a square in the box above, next to the one that looks like a filmstrip. That one will let you add an image from a website. Down below click on the manage attachments. Now you can add photos from your computer to the site. Those will show up in your post as thumbnails. There are size restrictions on those so check what the sizes can be be. There are alos videos on vbulletin that show how to this and even on youtube. Hope that helps.

Mark, As I've been saying forever... The icons are not available to anyone outside of the mods group.

On any browser, on multiple machines, there are no icons in the advanced view for me.

Most other people I know say the same thing.

firefox, atomic, chrome, IE, none of them work.

Are you sure there's not some setting yall' are missing on that end? I can add pictures manually, but have not been able to add video forever
