    Quick One Liners

Went to a Raw Bar ant Myrtle Beach and listened to a DJ who I enjoyed a great deal. He used a lot of one liners and was wondering if anyone had a list of them they used or had a favorite for crowds of people. The one that stuck in my mind was "You are not here for a long time you are here for a good time, get up and dance" the floor was full anyway but that kind of one liner made it more fun. Looking for more like this. Let me know what ya got.

That's a good one. I don't have any to add, except to say it sounds like he's very good at his job.

#1 advise in entertainment (especially live entertainment) is KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. Folks at a Raw Bar in a tourist town are absolutely there for a good time - not a bad idea to remind them... thus giving them "permission". Also, it's important in that kind of atmosphere to make vocals (meaning say SOMETHING on the mic every 15/20 minutes to remind people there is a real live person handling the show and the fun, and not just pre-programmed music).
