Opinions on a American DJ Mega Tri Bar LED

Just curious if anyone is using the American DJ Mega Tri Bar LED and the remote that can be paired with it. I'm thinking of adding this to my show for color fill and color wash. I have done a search here on MB forums and can't seem to find much, as well as I can't seem to find much on YouTube on it.

If any of you are using it, do you have any input on :

- How does the remote work with it?
- What are the patterns like? Do you like it?
- How well does it work as a color fill/wash?
- Durability of the unit?
- How is the color saturation?

Any input would be appreciated.

I will pick up a pair with my new equipment on Sunday. Additionally I will have two Quad Scans and two Galaxian 3D,s with a Shprion (spelling). I wont know how it all works till I get time to play with it. I will be happy to let you know in the next few weeks.

Jeff,

I didn't pick up my lights with my equipment this weekend as we are working with problems programing in MYDMX2.0. We didn't use the Mega Bar with a hand contoller. I can tell you they are bright, they will blind you and wash out all the other lights. With that said we have a long ways to go figuring them out, they are the only light we had issues with. The Galaxian 3D's worked and interfaced great as well as the Quad Scans and the Spherion.
