Anyone Here RV? How are you spending the 4th?

Each summer, I shut down for a couple months, and go cruise around in the RV until it's time for the Atlantic City DJ Convention.

The time has come for me to put down my Micrometer, and Autocad, and pick up a bottle of tequila and a Barbecue lighter.

We camp at ocean lakes in Myrtle Beach quite a bit. With over 4000 camp sites, I always wonder if anyone else I know camps there ever.

So, Anyone else out here on the east coast do any camping down south? Do you have any recommendations?

We do the family thing, so you have to be able to bring Golf Carts, Segways, Go Karts, Puppies, Alcohol, Fireworks, and Bicycles.

We'll do the state parks and the whole "nature thing" when they get a bit older.

Summer is officially here! Where are you camping?? How are you spending the 4th?

Never been there but have been to Hilton Head. We had a pop up camper back in the 90's when the kids were younger and we loved it. I got out of the biz for a while and thought we would try something new for a few years. Sold it and got back into Djing. Now in the summer I am too booked to think about it.

For the 4th...Business as usual. I'm transitioning from my day job to my new enterprise and I'll need the 4th to get caught up.

As far as RVing. When I was a kid we didn't go on many big family vacations. We did Disney twice, but the other "Big" vacation was when the old man rented an RV. It was back in the mid-70's. We went all around upstate New York...Lake George, Cooperstown. That was back when I idolized baseball players (silly kid). It was awesome, even better than either of the 2 Disney trips, and probably a lot cheaper too. I've told my wife and promised myself we'd always RV at least one family vacation...more if they boys like it.
