On June 6th the Kilmarnock – Irvington – White Stone Rotary Club held its’ annual Philanthropy Day Reception in the auditorium at R-WC. On this day each year the Club distributes the proceeds of the previous year’s Bay Seafood Festival. This year the KIWS Rotary Club donated $24,000.00 to local charities. To date, the Club has given back to the local community over $350,000.00 from the previous twenty one Festivals.
This year’s Bay Seafood Festival is being held on September 7th at Belle Isle State Park and is already more than half sold out. “Party with a Purpose” is our motto.
